Opening of a New Bridge in the Heart of Dubai to Reduce Traffic at World Trade Center
If you have driven around the World Trade Center Dubai these days, you have probably experienced the heavy traffic in this area; where thousands of vehicles commute daily between Al Bada, December 2nd Street, and Sheikh Rashid Road. Now, the RTA says part of this pressure is set to decrease.
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has opened a new 500-meter bridge in the World Trade Center development project; a bridge that makes it easier for vehicles to exit the Al Bada area towards December 2nd Street and provides more direct access to Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Mustaqbal Street.
According to the RTA, this project has been implemented to manage the growing volume of traffic in this area; a region that is becoming busier every day with the continuous development of Dubai and the increase in population.
This opening is part of Dubai's extensive plan to enhance road infrastructure and facilitate traffic flow in one of the busiest areas of the city; where any small change in routes can impact the commute time of thousands of people.
