Verification and data sources

Gooya Dubai is a directory of businesses, services and doctors serving the Persian-speaking community in Dubai and the UAE. This page explains what every listing goes through before it is published, where our data comes from, and exactly where the boundary of what we confirm sits.

Businesses and services

Every business uploads its trade licence when it registers, and the Gooya Dubai team reviews that document manually in the admin panel. A listing is not published until the licence has been reviewed and accepted. This confirms the business legally exists and is registered — it is not an endorsement of the quality of its work.

Doctors and clinics

Medical listings go through the same process: each practitioner's and clinic's documents and licence are reviewed manually by the Gooya Dubai team before publication, and a profile whose documents do not pass is not published. We do not display licence numbers on the page yet because they are not stored in a structured form; if you want to check for yourself, ask the practitioner or clinic for the number and look it up in the relevant health authority register such as the DHA. Gooya Dubai does not provide medical services and gives no medical advice.

Flight, currency and gold data

Flight status is based on Dubai Airports flight information and is refreshed hourly; Gooya Dubai is not an official partner or representative of the airport, and the airline and the airport remain authoritative. Currency figures are aggregated from open-market sources and refreshed hourly — these are market rates, not official bank rates — and gold prices every eight hours. The time of the last update is shown at the top of each page so you can judge the data for yourself. What we add is the collection, normalisation and Persian-language presentation of this data for the community in the UAE; check with a licensed exchange before you transact, and with the airline before you travel.

Who is behind this
