Dubai Chocolate brand Fix won the Dubai IT award in the business category
Dubai Chocolate brand FIX won the Dubai-it award in the business category.
FIX Dessert, the maker of the famous Dubai chocolate, won the Dubai-it award in the business projects category. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, announced this news on Saturday, October 24.
The story of FIX began as a home business in Dubai; however, the brand's pistachio chocolate and kunafa quickly went viral on social media and became a popular product in global markets.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan congratulated the FIX team, stating that the success of this brand is an example of Dubai's approach; a place where a small home business can turn into a global success.
According to him, chocolate sales in the Dubai style increased by 1234 percent in one year, and now these products are sold in various markets around the world and in over 100 airports.
The popularity of this chocolate is also seen in Dubai airports. In the first half of 2025, sales of Dubai chocolates in Dubai's duty-free shops reached 165 million dirhams. During this period, about 2.5 million bars of Emirates chocolate were sold, accounting for 40 percent of total sweet product sales.
The FIX brand, founded by Sara Hamoudeh and Yazan Alani, has added new flavors like 'Time to Mango' to its product line after the success of its flagship product. This brand has also collaborated with Sheikh Hamdan to produce a chocolate with a custom flavor inspired by his personal taste and love for halwa.
The annual Dubai-it award, which was announced to be launched in June 2026, honors individuals, projects, companies, and institutions that achieve success with their innovative approach and can inspire the next generation of businesses.
