On the occasion of International Museum Day, families in the UAE have access to interactive experiences, the Expo 2020 Museum, and a special discount at Terra.

If you don't have plans for the weekend yet, Expo City Dubai has prepared a free offer for families.

In celebration of International Museum Day, Expo City is offering free entry to 'Dubai Vision' or the Vision Pavilion from May 16 to 18, from 10 AM to 10 PM; an interactive space that narrates the life story and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai.

Visitors in this experience will pass through his childhood days in the heart of the desert and the traditions of the Bani Yas tribe, enter a reconstruction of his childhood room in Zabeel, and even see an artistic tribute to his famous horse 'Dubai Millennium'; details that show how his personal vision and lifestyle have influenced the formation of modern Dubai.

This experience is based on the book 'My Story; 50 Memories from 50 Years of Service' and aligns with this year's International Museum Day theme, 'Museums: A Bridge to Connect the World'; a place where visitors are not just spectators but become part of the city's narrative.

Alongside Vision, entry to the Expo 2020 Museum is also free during these three days, allowing enthusiasts to experience the Expo atmosphere again and see behind the scenes of this global event.

Another good news for families is the special discount at Terra; where adult and children's tickets are priced at only 20 dirhams instead of 100 and 80 dirhams. At Terra, one can learn about the region's biodiversity, and children can enjoy the indoor play area Taqa Island.
