The hourly rate of 4.20 AED for parking in Dubai Island and Warsan Industrial
Parking in two other areas of Dubai has become paid. Parkin, the main operator of paid public parking in Dubai, has announced that drivers in Warsan Industrial and Dubai Island must pay for parking their vehicles. The hourly rate in both areas is 4.20 AED, but the operating hours will differ.
Warsan Industrial; Paid parking has reached East Dubai
This area is located in East Dubai, opposite International City and near Dragon Mart, and is also close to Al Warqa, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Academic City.
Public parking in this area operates under tariff code 622T. The cost of parking a vehicle is calculated daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, and Sundays are exempt from this tariff.
Drivers can purchase long-term subscriptions instead of paying hourly:
• One month: 580 AED
• Three months: 1385 AED
• Six months: 2080 AED
• One year: 3460 AED
Dubai Island; Paid parking 24/7
In Dubai Island, an area near the northern beach of Dubai and opposite Deira, public parking with tariff code 101G has been activated.
Unlike Warsan Industrial, the cost of parking in this area is calculated around the clock, and drivers must pay 4.20 AED for each hour.
Long-term subscriptions in this area include:
• Three months: 900 AED
• Six months: 1800 AED
• One year: 3600 AED
These subscriptions may be a more suitable option for individuals who frequently commute to these areas.
Parkin currently manages approximately 268,000 paid parking spaces in Dubai; from public street and multi-story parking to some private parking.
The company also renewed its parking service contract with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) earlier this month for another 10 years to continue managing approximately 2800 paid parking spaces in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers area. This contract includes 250 motorcycle parking spaces and covers the installation of solar energy infrastructure.
