Apple is on the verge of introducing a new model of Mac Mini, which is likely to be unveiled before the iPhone 18 Pro launch event.

According to Bloomberg, the new Mac Mini will likely be the last product introduced before Tim Cook steps down as CEO of Apple. Given this timeframe, the official introduction of the Mac Mini is expected to be revealed in less than a week.

Bloomberg states: "Apple has tested versions of the Mac Mini with M5 and M6 chips; however, it is still unclear which generation of these chips will ultimately be used in the new model."

Currently, the existing version of the Mac Mini is available with M4 and M4 Pro chips, along with 16 to 48 GB of RAM and up to 8 TB of storage. The increased demand for this device in processing AI models, combined with a global RAM shortage, has extended the delivery time for current versions on the Apple online store in the United States to 4 to 10 weeks.

Another part of the reports indicates that part of the assembly process for the new Mac Mini will take place at Foxconn's new factory in Houston, Texas. This factory was recently inaugurated with the presence of Tim Cook and U.S. government officials, and it is likely that Apple will focus on localizing its assembly in the U.S. for the introduction of its new product.
