If you are going to spend a long flight with movies, music, games, and TV shows, Emirates is now one of the best options in the world for this experience.

Emirates Airline won the title of Best Airline in the World for In-Flight Entertainment at the 2026 World Airline Awards held by Skytrax.

Emirates' 'ice' entertainment system, offering around 6,500 channels of movies, series, music, and games, placed the airline above others like Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, and Virgin Atlantic. This content is available in multiple languages and on demand for passengers, also displaying flight information, news, sports, and weather updates.

Emirates also ranked second in the world for family travel, just behind EVA Air. Features such as priority boarding, spacious seating, and entertainment programs and special meals for children were among the factors that were highlighted in this category.

In the premium travel category, Emirates became the second-best airline in the world in Premium Economy and the fourth-best airline in First Class.

In the overall ranking, Emirates was placed as the sixth-best airline in the world.

These rankings are based on Skytrax's global survey of passengers from September 2025 to August 2026; a survey that included responses from passengers of over 100 nationalities and evaluated more than 300 airlines.

One more point of interest for Emirates passengers: the airline offers free Starlink Wi-Fi on some of its flights; meaning in-flight entertainment is not limited to movies and music, and passengers can stay online, make video calls, or work during the flight.
