With the hosting of major exhibitions and conferences in Dubai, the rates of some hotels near the World Trade Center have significantly increased during the high-demand dates in September.

A review of the prices listed on Booking.com shows:

🔹 Novotel World Trade Centre Hotel from 300 to 825 AED; about 175% increase
🔹 Ibis World Trade Centre Hotel from 233 to 618 AED; about 165% increase
🔹 Ibis One Central Hotel from 200 to 484 AED; about 142% increase

In total, the average price of the 15 hotels reviewed has risen from about 372 to 689 AED; which is approximately an 86% increase.

This increase is related to some busy dates and especially hotels around the exhibition venues, and does not mean a 175% increase in the prices of all hotels in Dubai. Rates may also vary based on room type, remaining capacity, and booking conditions.

For those who have guests during these days or plan to travel for business to Dubai, booking earlier or choosing hotels in areas farther from the World Trade Center is likely to be less expensive.
