Dubai International Airport is preparing to manage around 3.7 million passengers during the peak travel period, coinciding with the return of residents from summer holidays.

Majid Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports, told Al Emarat Al Youm newspaper that the daily average of passenger traffic is expected to reach around 222,000, with transit passengers making up nearly 46 percent of the total during this period.

Al Joker stated that the teams at Dubai International Airport (DXB) are working around the clock to manage this increase in passenger numbers and maintain operational efficiency.

Preparation measures cover the entire passenger flow from the arrivals and baggage claim area to the urban transport zones, while teams are fully prepared to respond to any potential operational changes.

He emphasized that the airport's readiness is not only limited to efficiently managing the high volume of passengers but also focuses on ensuring a smooth and quality travel experience.
