🔸 Dubai's DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) has launched an independent specialized sector for laboratory diamonds; a market that, in addition to jewelry, is expanding its applications in advanced industries and technology.

🔸 The UAE recorded a trade of 76.9 million carats of laboratory diamonds in 2025; 91.5% more than the previous year. The value of this trade also grew by 7.5% to reach $1.3 billion.
🔸 The volume of trade in this type of diamond in the UAE increased from 36.8 million carats in 2022 to 76.9 million carats in 2025, more than doubling in three years.

🔸 Laboratory diamonds, in addition to the jewelry industry, are being developed for applications such as semiconductors, quantum technologies, space equipment, medical devices, and precision engineering due to their thermal, optical, and semiconducting properties.

🔸 The total trade of all types of diamonds in the UAE also reached a record $41.7 billion in 2025.
