The concert was scheduled for September 25 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island; however, it has now been completely canceled.

The Ticketmaster platform informed ticket buyers on Tuesday that this performance will no longer take place. No reason for the cancellation has been announced, and there is currently no news of a rescheduled date.

For those who purchased tickets, refunds will be processed automatically using the original payment method and may take up to 21 business days.

This concert was initially set to take place on April 24, but due to a wave of event postponements and disruptions in flights and artists' tour schedules, it was moved to September 25.

The cancellation of Aguilera's concert was announced just hours after the cancellation of the Off Limits festival in Abu Dhabi; a festival that was supposed to feature Shakira, Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo, and Biffy Clyro. The organizers of that event also did not provide a reason for the cancellation and mentioned the possibility of the festival returning in 2027.

Aguilera last performed in Abu Dhabi in February 2025 as part of the Saadiyat Nights. That sold-out concert was her first performance in Abu Dhabi in 17 years. She had previously taken the stage at Emirates Palace in October 2008.

Between these two performances, Aguilera performed in March 2022 at the closing ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai alongside Norah Jones and Yo-Yo Ma.
