16 Kilogram Gold Earrings in Dubai Break Two Guinness World Records!

The 16 kilogram gold earrings in Dubai have broken two Guinness World Records!
Dubai has registered two Guinness World Records for the "largest" and "heaviest pair of gold earrings in the world" with the unveiling of a pair of gigantic gold earrings.
These earrings, named "Mayura Sahasra", are made of 22-carat gold and weigh 16.514 kilograms; that is more than five times the previous record!
The design of this piece is inspired by peacocks and traditional Indian jewelry. The length of the earrings is 1.215 meters and their diameter is 68.2 cm.
To create this unique jewel, 55 skilled artisans worked a total of 5840 hours to create one of the largest handmade gold pieces in the world.
These earrings were unveiled on October 24, 2026, in the Dubai Gold District and managed to simultaneously achieve two official Guinness titles.
