Wynn Al Marjan Casino to Launch in 2027 as Planned
Wynn Al Marjan Ras Al Khaimah is on track to open in early 2027.
The construction of the integrated gaming resort Wynn Al Marjan in Ras Al Khaimah is progressing according to plan with a budget of 18.7 billion dirhams, and its opening is scheduled for early 2027. The project reached the top-out stage in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Craig Billings, CEO of Wynn Resorts, announced in the 2025 annual report that the hotel tower reached the top-out stage in the fourth quarter, marking an important milestone for the completion of the project. This resort is the result of a joint investment between Wynn Resorts America and RAK Holding.
The 70-story tower of this hotel will include 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and cafes, a theater, luxury shops, and a marina. Wynn Al Marjan is expected to bring a new wave of international tourism to Ras Al Khaimah and enhance the global standing of this emirate.
Wynn Resorts has described the UAE as one of the most exciting new markets for developing integrated resorts in recent decades. The company estimates that gross gaming revenue in the UAE will be between 3 to 5 billion dollars, and given the lack of declared competitors, these estimates are conservative.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, Wynn Resorts injected 79.2 million dollars in cash into its 40 percent joint investment in Wynn Al Marjan, bringing the total investment of the company to 914.2 million dollars so far. It is anticipated that an additional 375 to 400 million dollars will be added to the project in 2026 and 75 to 100 million dollars in 2027.
