Wizz Air Flights to Abu Dhabi Delayed by Three Months

Wizz Air has postponed the resumption of several of its flights to Abu Dhabi, originally scheduled for late October, until January 10, 2027.
This change includes routes from Abu Dhabi to 6 European cities:

:round_pushpin: Katowice
:round_pushpin: Sofia
:round_pushpin: Cluj
:round_pushpin: Larnaca
:round_pushpin: Budapest
Wizz Air cited the latest security assessment from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and ongoing airspace restrictions in Iraq as the reasons for this decision.
According to the company, current conditions have lengthened flight routes and necessitated technical stops for refueling, making operations on these routes economically challenging given the current fuel prices.
Passengers who had previously planned for autumn flights are advised to check their booking and flight status.
