Martial arts fans in the UAE mark another big night on their calendar; UFC has announced that it will return to Abu Dhabi in October 2026 with the special event UFC 333.

The competition will take place on October 24 at Etihad Arena, Yas Island; where usually the biggest fights, UFC's main stars, and championship competitions take place in the ring.

The announcement of UFC's return was made during this week's Fight Night events in Abu Dhabi; an event that marked the twenty-third appearance of this major MMA organization in the UAE capital. With the hosting of UFC 333, the total number of events hosted in Abu Dhabi will reach 24.

The collaboration between UFC and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi began in 2010 and the contract for this collaboration will continue until 2028. Organizers say UFC 333 will be accompanied by side events in the form of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week at Yas Island.

Fans can register early for information on ticket sales and special accommodation packages. VIP packages for this event will also include special seating, attendance at the weigh-in ceremony, meet-and-greet with fighters, and exclusive experiences.
