UAE; One of the Safest Countries According to Residents

Results of a national survey in the United Arab Emirates indicate that the sense of public safety in this country is at a very high level, and nearly all residents consider walking alone at night to be safe.

According to the "2025 Quality of Life Security Survey" conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre, 98.7 percent of respondents reported feeling safe when walking alone after dark.

Among them, 98.1 percent of participating women also stated that they feel safe during nighttime movements; a statistic that reflects the high level of social trust in the country.

This survey was conducted with the participation of 6,775 residents from across the UAE.

The Ministry of Interior has stated that the results of this study reflect the high trust of the community in the safe and stable environment of the UAE and strengthen the country's position as a global model in the field of security, stability, and quality of life.
