UAE Message on the Eve of World Teachers' Day; Teachers are the Founders of the Future Generation of the UAE

🔸 On the eve of World Teachers' Day on October 5, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Head of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the UAE, expressed gratitude to teachers and educational staff across the country and regarded them as one of the most important partners in building the future.

🔸 He emphasized that the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has created new responsibilities for teachers; from keeping skills up to date and recognizing new technologies to using them correctly to enhance education.

🔸 According to him, the skills and critical thinking that students learn from the early years in the classroom are the foundation of the talents, research, and innovations that later take shape in universities.

🔸 The UAE educational system is also working to bring schools, universities, research centers, and the labor market closer together so that graduates and students are better prepared for the real needs of the future economy.

🔸 He also stressed the importance of lifelong learning; especially with the rapid growth of areas such as the digital economy, renewable energies, and advanced industries.

Ultimately, preparing the future generation is not just the responsibility of teachers; families, schools, universities, and employers all share a common responsibility in this journey.
