UAE Announces Readiness to Resume In-Person Education; Some Kindergartens Will Reopen This Week

Officials announced that further updates regarding the resumption of in-person education or distance learning in schools and higher education institutions will be announced on Wednesday through the official channels of the Ministry of Education and other relevant entities.

The Education, Human Resources and Community Development Council in the UAE has stated that educational institutions across the country are preparing for a gradual return to in-person education; an action that is being taken with a phased approach aimed at ensuring safety and continuity of education.

In the first phase, kindergartens will resume their in-person activities this week; this includes kindergartens located in government and commercial buildings. Other kindergartens are also allowed to continue home childcare services in accordance with approved regulations.

Officials announced that additional information regarding the return to in-person education or the continuation of distance learning in schools and higher education institutions will be published on Wednesday, April 15, through the official channels of the Ministry of Education and other relevant entities.
