The travel industry in the region is gradually returning to normal days. With the stabilization of regional flights, travel bookings have increased week by week, although they have not yet reached the levels before the start of the war between the United States and Iran.

According to data from Capital Economics, business travel has now reached about 70 percent of pre-war levels, and travel for family and friends visits has even returned to 85 percent of that level.

For the UAE, the news is even more encouraging. Dubai and Abu Dhabi remain among the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and Ras Al Khaimah is rapidly becoming one of the key tourist spots in the region. Predictions also indicate a significant increase in hotel occupancy rates in the coming months; this comes after a decline of over 30 percent in the first quarter of the year.

However, one problem remains: many international tourists are still refraining from traveling to the Middle East, and countries like the UK and Australia have issued travel warnings. Companies like British Airways and Air France have also not fully returned to the skies of the region.

As September approaches, travel industry professionals have become more optimistic and hope that with a new ceasefire agreement, more international flights will return to the region by the end of the fourth quarter of the year.
