An Indian citizen residing in Dubai returned 100,000 dirhams found in a parking lot to Dubai Police; a sincere act that was met with official recognition from the police. The money was returned to its original owner within just three hours; a person who hadn't even realized it was missing.

This incident occurred when "Mohammad Ali Shirkal Mohi," a Dubai resident, encountered a package containing a large sum of cash upon entering a parking lot. He took a photo of the 100,000 dirhams cash package and then went to the "Al-Rafa'a" police station to hand over the money and show the officers the exact location where he found it.

After the investigation began, the police were able to identify the owner of the money; a man who owned a private company active in the shipping sector. Investigations revealed that he had withdrawn 200,000 dirhams from the bank and placed it inside a paper envelope.

While hurrying to his car, he had not properly sealed the envelope, and one of the bundles of money worth 100,000 dirhams had fallen out without him noticing. He then got into his car and left the area.

Dubai Police contacted the owner just three hours after receiving the money from Mohi. The man was surprised to find out that he had lost part of his money. He later visited the police station and, while retrieving the amount, sincerely thanked Dubai Police and also the young man who had found the money.

The officers at Al-Rafa'a police station also commended Mohammad Ali Mohi for this honest act. Colonel Ahmed Obaid bin Hudhaifa, the head of the station, emphasized that Dubai Police always appreciates individuals who honestly return lost property; an action that, according to him, reflects the atmosphere of security, trust, and positive values in the UAE community.

At the ceremony, Colonel Saleh Hassan Al-Marzouqi, the deputy head of the department, and Captain Ali Haji Al-Balushi, the head of the customer satisfaction section, were also present and took a commemorative photo with Mohi.
