Severe heat in the UAE during Eid al-Adha holidays; temperatures will reach up to 48 degrees
The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE announced that coinciding with the Eid al-Adha holidays, the temperature across the country will rise, reaching up to 48 degrees Celsius in some inland areas of the UAE.
According to forecasts, from May 25 to May 31, the weather conditions in most parts of the country will remain stable.
▫️ Inland areas: Very hot weather during the day
▫️ Coasts and islands: Relatively warm weather
▫️ Nights and early mornings: The temperature will become milder
▫️ Some eastern regions: Possibility of partly cloudy skies
Humidity will also increase during the late night and early morning hours, especially in coastal areas, and there is a possibility of fog or light mist on Monday and Friday.
The winds will initially be southeast and then northwest; wind speeds may occasionally increase, potentially causing dust storms.
Maximum temperatures:
• Coastal areas and islands: 35 to 43 degrees
• Inland areas: 43 to 48 degrees
• Mountainous areas: 28 to 35 degrees
The UAE Meteorological Center has advised residents to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak heat hours, especially on Eid al-Adha holiday days.
