The Dubai Municipality has launched the first cycling path for children at Mushrif National Park, which is the first project of its kind in the Middle East. This path, known as 'Young Rangers', is designed as part of Dubai's comprehensive urban plan for 2040, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for families residing in Dubai.

The Young Rangers cycling path, which is one and a half kilometers long, is located in the heart of the Mushrif Park forest and is specifically designed for children under 12 years old. This park houses one of the largest urban Ghaf tree forests in the UAE and provides a unique experience of exploring nature for children. Access to this path is free and available from sunrise to sunset.

All elements of the cycling path are designed based on the physical abilities, height, and motor coordination of young children. This safe and specialized path includes balance beams, guiding arches, wooden rollers, sloped turns, and paved sections that help enhance children's cycling skills, physical coordination, and self-confidence. Parents can bring their own bicycles or use the bike rental kiosks available in the park.

Mushrif National Park serves as a comprehensive destination for family recreation, offering a variety of facilities including healthy food restaurants, a mosque, restrooms, and walking and cycling paths for visitors. This park has now become a complete recreational and sports center for families residing in Dubai, providing a safe and natural space for children's activities.
