The Burj Khalifa Competition Has Begun Again
Submit your artistic designs for display on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
If you have always dreamed of having your artwork displayed on the tallest building in the world, now is your chance. Emaar has once again launched the Burj Khalifa Open Call; a competition in the field of projection design that invites artists, designers, and creatives from the UAE and around the world to submit their works for display on the iconic facade of the Burj Khalifa.
Emaar announced this news through social media and addressed enthusiasts by saying: “The next projection on the Burj Khalifa may bear your signature.” It was also announced that registration for this call has begun through the official Burj Khalifa website.

Submissions will start from July 8, 2026, and will continue until August 18, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Participants must note that their works:
Must be completely original and creative.
Must be compatible with the culture and values of the community.
Must not violate any intellectual property rights or copyrights, whether in images or music.
:black_small_square:Submission Conditions and Specifications
Participants must prepare a work with a duration of three minutes.
Submission conditions include the following:
The preview version must be submitted in MP4 format.
The final version, which will be used for display on the Burj, must be prepared in MOV format.
The preview video must include music.
Additionally, the audio file of the music must be submitted separately.
All music used must be copyright-free.

:black_small_square:Is there a cash prize?
Unlike some previous editions, this year's call does not mention a cash prize. In the 2025 call, a cash prize of 100,000 AED was awarded to the selected designer.
While last year's call was only for residents of the UAE, this year's competition invites artists from the UAE and around the world to submit their works.
