The United Arab Emirates summoned the Iranian ambassador and submitted a protest note regarding Iran's aggressions and terrorist attacks against him.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Reza Amiri, the Iranian ambassador to the UAE, and presented him with a strongly worded protest note, conveying the UAE government's condemnation and strong objection to Iran's terrorist attacks. The ministry emphasized that targeting UAE territory is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of this country, a threat to its national security, and a clear infringement of all international charters, resolutions, and norms.

Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, Minister of State, during the summoning of the Iranian ambassador, expressed the UAE's firm opposition to any justification or excuse presented by Iran regarding these hostile actions that have targeted civilian areas, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, putting civilian lives at risk. He added that these actions are a dangerous and irresponsible escalation that has been carried out without regard to the UAE's clear position; a position that emphasized it would not allow its territory to be used for any military operations against Iran.

He stressed that these aggressions are contrary to the principles of good neighborliness and the United Nations Charter, undermining the path of de-escalation and peaceful solutions that the UAE pursues towards Iran. He warned that these actions could have dangerous consequences for bilateral relations and directly impact all political, economic, and commercial levels.

He also emphasized that the UAE demands Iran respect the sovereignty of this country and an immediate and unconditional cessation of these aggressions, reminding that the UAE reserves its right to respond, within the full scope of its legal rights.
