If you haven't made plans for your summer vacation yet, you may not need to leave the UAE. Various hotels across the country are trying to invite residents to a "staycation" or short domestic holiday this year with special offers.

The price of some of these packages starts from 169 Dirhams per night, and in some hotels, the second night is free, with free meals for children or even a 24-hour stay; meaning guests can stay exactly 24 full hours in the hotel regardless of their check-in time.

Tourism industry experts say that residents of the UAE are no longer just looking for a hotel room; they prefer to have a complete experience during their short holiday, from family entertainment and spa to water sports, golf, and special children's programs.

Among this year's offers, the "Dubai Gold District" and "Deira" hotel chains offer stays starting from 169 Dirhams, and children under 12 stay free when accompanied by parents and receive free meals.

The "JA Hatta Fort" hotel has also implemented a 24-hour stay plan until the end of September; guests can check out at the same hour the next day, regardless of their check-in time.

The "Jannah" hotels in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah have also offered packages starting from 199 Dirhams, which include meals, spa discounts, and flexible check-in and check-out times. Additionally, the villas with pools in this collection are offered with special discounts for food and drinks.

Industry professionals say that packages that offer more amenities such as meals, recreational activities, and flexible stay times, in addition to reasonable prices, receive the most attention.

Despite fluctuations in international travel, hotel managers are optimistic about the remainder of the year and believe that the high demand from UAE residents and regional tourists continues to make Dubai and other emirates one of the popular short holiday destinations.
