Dubai has prepared a wide range of recreational programs and special services for residents and tourists during the Eid Al-Adha holidays in 2026; from designating certain beaches as "family-only" to distributing free ice cream, hosting live performances, and intensifying health and safety inspections throughout the city.

According to the Dubai Municipality, the newly opened "Al Mamzar Beach" along with Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, and its night beach, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1 and its night beach, and Umm Suqeim 2 will be exclusively for families during Eid Al-Adha. These beaches provide a calm space for daily relaxation as well as a lively atmosphere at night.

Free Ice Cream and Live Performances

The "Eid Gifts" program will be held on the first and second days of Eid in several parks in Dubai, where visitors will receive free ice cream from 4 PM to 7 PM. This program will take place in Al Barsha Pond Park, Local Parks, Mushrif, Zabeel, Creek, and Al Safa Parks.

Additionally, Dubai Frame will host live music performances from 4 PM to 7 PM on these two days. In the Hatta area, Hatta Market will host the "Al Harbiya" group with traditional and local performances on the second day of Eid from 4 PM to 10 PM.

The "Children's City" center will also offer a variety of programs including theatrical performances, interactive workshops, cartoon character appearances, and family entertainment during the first three days of Eid from 9 AM to 8 PM.

Park Operating Hours

The Dubai Municipality announced that the Quranic Parks, Zabeel, Al Mamzar, Al Safa, Creek, and Mushrif National Park will be open from 8 AM to midnight during the Eid holidays. Dubai Frame will operate from 8 AM to 9 PM.

Increased Health and Safety Inspections

Hotel Booking in Dubai

The Dubai Municipality announced that for the Eid period, a comprehensive framework of inspections and operational measures has been implemented to maintain public health, food safety, and the readiness of service centers.

Inspection teams have been deployed at food preparation and sales centers, shopping malls, temporary stalls, recreational venues, and stores offering traditional and seasonal products, monitoring food preparation, storage temperature, transportation, and warehousing.

These inspections also include butchers, coffee shops, chocolate stores, and central markets such as fruit and vegetable markets and beach markets. Citizens can report food safety issues through the 24-hour Dubai app or by calling 800900.

Stricter Control of Imported Meats

With the increased demand for meat during Eid Al-Adha, monitoring of imported meat shipments has also intensified. All shipments are checked for halal slaughter certificates and compliance with the cold chain.

The Dubai Municipality reported that in the first quarter of 2026 alone, approximately 81,000 food shipments, including over 424,000 items and a total of about 2.7 million tons of imported food, have been inspected. Nearly 8,000 meat and meat product shipments, equivalent to about 66,000 tons, have also been checked.

Monitoring of Hotels, Salons, and Shisha Cafés

Inspections at hotels, men's and women's salons, and shisha cafés have also increased to ensure compliance with standards regarding water quality, air quality, and pool hygiene and safety.

The Municipality has also launched a special campaign to test henna products in women's salons, examining samples for allergens and harmful substances.

Control of Consumer Goods and Labor Markets

Monitoring of seasonal goods such as children's toys, cosmetics, perfumes, and electrical appliances has also increased to ensure their safety and compliance with official standards.

On the other hand, the Dubai Municipality is also implementing special monitoring and entertainment programs in three labor markets in the Muhaisnah 2, Al Quoz 4, and Al Quoz 3 industrial areas. Approximately 20,000 people are expected to participate in these programs.
