Some private schools in Dubai are examining the possibility of holding online classes on Fridays during Ramadan. This initiative comes after the announcement by the UAE Ministry of Education regarding the continuation of the "Ramadan with Family" program for students in public schools.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has advised private schools in Dubai to consult with the parents of students regarding the provision of virtual education. According to these guidelines, schools can offer remote learning on Fridays, but only with the consent of the majority of parents and official approval.

For many families, this issue is as much about educational matters as it is about the health and well-being of students. Shorter school hours and the physical strain of fasting often cause students to return home tired, especially in the early weeks of Ramadan.

Cambridge International School and Al-Sadiq English School are among the schools that have conducted surveys with parents. These schools have emphasized that educational commitments remain unchanged and students who have exams must attend school in person.

The Ministry of Education's "Ramadan with Family" program allows public school students to have virtual classes on Fridays for the second consecutive year. The aim of this program is to provide more time for students with their families and to maintain a balance between studies and the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.
