If you are parking in Silicon Oasis, Dubai, you need to pay more attention to the parking signs; as the paid parking areas have expanded.

Parkonic has announced that as of August 21, all designated street parking areas in Silicon Oasis are now covered by the company's paid services.

There are two types of parking in this area: P107, which is paid 24 hours, and P112, which charges from 8 AM to 10 PM and is free at other times.

The parking fee varies by hour; from the start of paid hours until 4 PM, the charge is 4 dirhams per hour, and from 4 PM to 8 PM, this amount increases to 6 dirhams per hour. After that, the rate returns to 4 dirhams, although the exact hours differ in P107 and P112.

An important note: Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.

For payment, drivers can use the usual methods, and they can also connect the Parkonic app to Salik for automatic payment.

This expansion is part of the trend of increasing paid parking in Dubai; a trend that, according to the CEO of Parkin, will continue with urban development and increased demand for smart parking services.
