Sharjah approved the feasibility study for air taxis and air cargo.

The Executive Council of Sharjah approved the feasibility study for launching air taxis and air cargo services. This emirate aims to become a regional hub for modern and sustainable air transportation.

The meeting of the Executive Council of Sharjah was held on Tuesday, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. During this meeting, the approval of modern air transportation solutions, including air taxis and cargo services, was granted.

This project will be implemented in collaboration with leading international partners, aiming to enhance air connectivity between cities and establish Sharjah's position in advanced transportation infrastructure. This initiative aligns with global trends in sustainability and future technologies.

The Executive Council of Sharjah also reviewed the performance of government and public policies of sectors and entities in accordance with the strategic vision of the emirate. In line with the directives of the Ruler of Sharjah, the first batch of residential land allocations and investments for the year 2026 was also approved.

This land allocation includes 1,200 Emirati citizens across Sharjah, with 490 receiving residential land and 710 receiving investment land. This initiative is part of Sharjah's developmental programs to support citizens and strengthen the real estate sector.
