If you are living in Dubai these days, it is probably no longer surprising that major global brands come to this city to introduce their products. This time, Samsung chose the skies of Dubai instead of a regular event to unveil its latest foldable phone, Galaxy Z Fold8.

In this campaign, 20 professional skydivers jumped from a plane over Dubai and Palm Jumeirah, and during free fall, they formed the new shape of Galaxy Z Fold8 in the sky by positioning themselves together. The entire display was captured with cinematic filming and is set to be released as promotional videos.

Samsung states that the Galaxy Z Fold8, which was introduced a few days ago at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London, is the lightest phone in the Fold series to date, weighing only 201 grams. This phone features a new design, an external display of 10:16, and an internal display of 4:3, providing a better experience for content viewing, reading, and gaming.

Interestingly, the skydivers used the new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 smartwatches for precise coordination of this aerial performance, allowing them to maintain their positions in fractions of a second and form the final shape of the phone in the sky.

In this program, Emirati athlete Ahmad Al Shehi, a jet suit pilot and professional skydiver, was also present and captured images of this jump with the Galaxy Z Fold8 from the sky.

Samsung has announced that this aerial display is one of the first major regional campaigns of the company following the global launch of Galaxy Z Fold8; a campaign that, against the backdrop of Palm Jumeirah, one of Dubai's landmarks, aims to showcase the new design of this phone in a unique way.
