Are you waiting for Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra?

Samsung Display is ready to begin mass production of the OLED panels needed for four models of the Galaxy S27 family this month; a move that brings Samsung's next-generation flagships one step closer to production.

According to published reports, the start of production of the OLED panels for the Galaxy S27 series will coincide with the start of production of the Exynos 2700 processor. This indicates that the Korean supply chain is preparing for the production of four different models of Samsung's upcoming flagships.

Four models for the Galaxy S27 family

According to available information, the Galaxy S27 family will consist of four models.

The base model Galaxy S27 will be equipped with a 6.27-inch display, and the Galaxy S27 Plus will be released with a 6.66-inch display.

In addition to these two models, Samsung intends to introduce the Galaxy S27 Pro as a new member of this family. This model will be equipped with a 6.47-inch display.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra will also be the largest member of this family with a 6.89-inch display.

Increase in panel production with the addition of the Pro model

The addition of the Pro model to the Galaxy S27 family will increase the volume of panels required by Samsung by about 10% compared to the previous generation.

Accordingly, Samsung Display has set its annual target for supplying displays for the Galaxy S27 series in the range of 47 to 48 million units.

For comparison, the delivery target for the previous generation, the Galaxy S26 family, was announced in the range of 40 million units.

Samsung's plan for producing Galaxy S27 Pro

According to plans, Samsung Display intends to supply about 2 to 3 million panels for the Galaxy S27 Pro this year.

Next year, another 4 to 5 million panels are planned for this model.

The production of these panels this year does not mean that the phones will be released in 2026. Samsung intends to prepare the necessary components in advance for the assembly stage to ensure that the conditions for the final production and release of the Galaxy S27 family are ready in early 2027.

Privacy Display will reach the Pro and Ultra models

Another feature that, according to reports, will be included in the new generation of Samsung flagships is the Privacy Display security feature.

This technology, which was first used in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, will also be present in the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Privacy Display makes it more difficult to view screen content from the sides by limiting the viewing angle of the display, thereby enhancing user privacy in public environments.
