Stay informed first with Gooya
According to reports received by Gooya from several companies active in the maritime transport and cargo shipping sector to Iran, a new circular from the Ports, Customs, and Free Zones Authority of Dubai has been issued to stakeholders in this field.
According to this circular, Iranian wooden vessels must first register in the relevant system, complete the necessary documents, and obtain the required reservations to enter the designated ports in Dubai. After reviewing and approving the applications, a decision will be made regarding their entry and continued operations.
Currently, stakeholders in this field are in the process of registration and compliance with the announced requirements and must await final approval from the relevant authorities.
It is emphasized that this does not mean the issuance of unconditional and definitive permits for all vessels, and each application will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis according to the established regulations.
