Ras Al Khaimah is set to have a new luxury marine attraction
Ras Al Khaimah is set to have a new luxury marine attraction. Wynn Al Marjan Island has announced the construction of a 98-berth marina for superyachts and megayachts in this complex.
This marina can accommodate yachts up to 85 meters in length; a capacity that, according to the complex, exceeds that of any marina connected to a hotel in the UAE.
Wynn Marina will be built as part of the larger Wynn Al Marjan project and is expected to create a direct connection between guests arriving by sea and the accommodation, restaurants, entertainment, wellness centers, and shops in this complex.
The marina's design includes a circular harbor, restaurants, terraces, and beach walking paths. At its center, there will be a building called Capitainerie, which will serve as the entry point and operational center of the marina; meaning travelers can even complete their entry procedures on their yacht and directly enter the accommodation.
The management of this marina will be entrusted to IGY Marinas based in Fort Lauderdale.
On the other hand, the opening of Wynn Al Marjan, which was scheduled for March 2027, has been postponed to September 2027. The reason for this delay has been cited as supply chain constraints due to regional conflict, and the project's budget has increased from the initial figure of $5.1 billion by $600 million.
This complex had previously unveiled two new seven-bedroom royal apartments named Mayfair and Paris atop its 70-story building, and the construction of its 550-meter beachfront, protected lagoon, and coral reef has also been completed.
