If you are considering purchasing the iPhone 18 Pro, it might be a good idea to reassess your budget.

According to predictions by Jeff Pu, an analyst at GF Securities, the price of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max may be between $250 to $300 higher than the previous generation. The main reason for this increase is attributed to the rising production costs of 2nm chips, memory, and storage, a situation that has put additional pressure on the supply chain due to the increasing demand from AI companies for chips.

If this price increase is also applied in the UAE market, estimates indicate:

iPhone 18 Pro: Approximately 5,799 to 5,999 AED
iPhone 18 Pro Max: Approximately 6,199 to 6,399 AED

For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro with 256GB of memory is currently priced at 4,699 AED in the UAE, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts from 5,099 AED.

Of course, these figures are not yet definitive. Apple has neither unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro nor confirmed the price increase. These phones are expected to be revealed in September, coinciding with the introduction of Apple's first foldable iPhone.

Therefore, if you plan to upgrade your iPhone, you will have to wait for Apple's official announcement; however, current reports suggest that the new generation of Pro iPhones will likely enter the UAE market with a heavier price tag.
