The World Health Expo (WHX World Health Expo) commenced on Monday in Dubai, aiming to transform the city into one of the most important global health and healthcare centers. Previously known as Arab Health, this event, with a 50-year history, brings together the international health community to advance trade, knowledge exchange, investment, and collaboration.

The Dubai World Health Expo will take place from February 9 to 12 at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) and is supported by the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the UAE. WHX will host 4,300 exhibitors and over 235,000 professional visitors, including health leaders, policymakers, physicians, innovators, and investors from more than 180 countries worldwide. This event is considered one of the most influential global health platforms.

This year, 32 national pavilions will be present at the World Health Expo, and the exhibition space has increased by 15% compared to last year. Last year, this event generated a business value of $2.57 billion and facilitated transnational collaborations, market access, and significant investments in the health sector. Participants from advanced health markets and growing systems in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Europe, and East Asia will be present.

The expo features over 300 speakers, accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences, and three specialized stages. The Visionary stage brings together senior executives, policymakers, and investors to discuss artificial intelligence, digital health, and leadership in healthcare. The Future X stage showcases startups and innovative technologies.

The WHX expo has also introduced the Xcelerate competition, where 30 startups compete for a $25,000 prize. In 2026, the Dubai World Health Expo will be held concurrently with WHX Labs at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to place greater emphasis on laboratory and medical diagnostics.
