The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced that the missile threats identified this morning were outside the borders of the UAE and currently pose no danger to the country.
This authority emphasized that all national systems are at the highest level of readiness and are monitoring developments 24/7.
NCEMA also stated that precautionary alerts are issued preventively even when the likelihood of danger is very low, and urged citizens and residents to follow news and announcements only from official sources and to refrain from spreading rumors.
This morning, the UAE Ministry of Defense also confirmed that the country's air defense systems responded to a missile threat. Following that, a nationwide alert message was sent to residents, and moments later, another message was sent indicating that the situation is normal and daily activities can resume.
