Lost bag found at Dubai Airport; silver bars worth 2 million dirhams returned to its owner
Sometimes a few minutes of distraction in the busy airport can lead to the loss of valuable belongings; however, for one passenger at Dubai International Airport, the story had a different ending.
Dubai Police announced that a black handbag containing silver bars worth approximately 2 million dirhams was found and returned to its owner after being reported missing.
This incident occurred in Terminal 1 of Dubai International Airport, where an Asian passenger realized just moments before boarding their flight that they had lost their bag and reported the matter to the patrol officers stationed in the departure hall.
Upon receiving the report, the police operations center initiated the search process. The passenger's movement path in the terminal was reviewed, and several patrol teams were deployed at various points in the airport to locate the bag.
Eventually, the officers managed to find the bag. An examination of its contents revealed that it contained silver bars valued at around 2 million dirhams.

Dubai Police stated that after verifying ownership documents and completing legal procedures, the bag and its contents were handed over to the owner with an official receipt.
The passenger also expressed gratitude for the promptness and professionalism of the airport security forces. According to Dubai Police, this case exemplifies the readiness and quick response of security personnel to protect the belongings of passengers in one of the busiest airports in the world.
