The General Civil Aviation Authority has announced that flight operations at UAE airports are gradually resuming to assist passengers stranded due to recent regional disruptions.  

The aviation authority has asked passengers not to rely on unconfirmed flight news and to avoid coming to the airport unnecessarily. This action is taken to prevent congestion and facilitate service delivery.  

Flight operations at Dubai Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum Airport (DWC) have been resumed in a limited capacity since March 2.  

Priority is given to passengers who have missed their flights.  

Passengers with reserved tickets should check their flight status on their airline's website (rebook).  

Abu Dhabi International Airport: Flight operations have partially resumed, but all scheduled Etihad flights remain suspended until 14:00 UAE time on Wednesday, March 4.  

Passengers should make sure the airline's link takes them to the airport's official page.

Passengers should check their reservation number on the website, verify their contact information, and stay informed of any changes.  

Flights issued on February 28, 2026, and traveling until March 7, 2026, can only be managed through the Etihad website up to 18 hours before the flight.  

Or through travel agencies.  

Sharjah Airport flights will begin a limited schedule tonight.  

Air Arabia has suspended all its flights to/from Sharjah until 15:00 UAE time. Passengers should check their flight status on the website.  

Passengers whose flights are not operating are advised not to visit the airport.  

Check flight status and updates on the Air Arabia website.  

Passengers planning to travel within the next 24 hours will be informed about their rebooking options.  

Officials have emphasized that all operations will only continue after confirming safety standards.
