The General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE (GCAA) announced that flights operated by Iranian airlines to the UAE or from the UAE have been suspended as of today, Thursday, September 24, 2026, until further notice.

This decision was made following a ban imposed by the United States on Iranian airlines' use of airports in various countries around the world.

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority added that it will inform the relevant authorities and the public of any developments until normal air traffic between the two countries resumes. The authority urged the public to obtain information only from official and authorized sources.
