Heart of the Beast starring Brad Pitt is now showing in Dubai cinemas

Brad Pitt and a war dog have made their way to Dubai cinemas

The film "Heart of the Beast", directed by David Ayer, is a survival thriller that begins when the plane of James Belmont, a former special forces officer of the U.S. Army, crashes in the wilds of Alaska.

James is not alone; Odin, his retired German Shepherd, is with him. A dog that bears scars from war; from a prosthetic leg to titanium teeth.

Now these two are stranded in the cold of Alaska; without help, without other people, and with a long distance to rescue. What remains is the struggle to survive and, more importantly, not to leave each other behind.

The film, starring Brad Pitt, Anna Lambe and J.K. Simmons, focuses more on the relationship between James and Odin rather than the plot twists; two wounded beings who refuse to abandon each other in the toughest conditions.

Odin is played by a New Zealand German Shepherd named Uber, and this dog character is one of the main attractions of the film. "Heart of the Beast" currently has a score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you are looking for an action movie full of surprises, this may not be exactly what you expect; but if you love survival stories, animals, and the emotional bond between humans and dogs, you should probably add "Heart of the Beast" to your watchlist.

The screening of this film has started today in Dubai cinemas.
