While just a few years ago, the idea of a silent Ferrari seemed impossible for many fans of the brand, this has now become a reality. Ferrari has unveiled the 'Luce', its first all-electric production car; a model that is set to mark the beginning of a new chapter for one of the world's most renowned luxury car manufacturers.

This car, with a power of 1050 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.5 seconds, and its top speed exceeds 310 kilometers per hour. Its 122 kilowatt-hour battery also offers a driving range of over 530 kilometers and supports 350-kilowatt fast charging.

However, the 'Luce' has not made headlines solely for being electric. For the first time, Ferrari has introduced a car with four doors and five seats; a change that the brand claims has been achieved without sacrificing the car's sporty performance. According to company executives, the all-electric architecture of the vehicle provides more space for passengers and makes it a more suitable option for everyday use.

Ferrari has emphasized that the 'Luce' was designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle and is not a modified version of any other model. This project has also brought over 60 new patents to the company, and a significant part of its technologies, from electric motors to batteries, has been developed at the Maranello factory in Italy.

Another interesting point is Ferrari's collaboration with 'LoveFrom'; the design studio owned by renowned iPhone designer Jony Ive. Ferrari states that it needed a different creative perspective for this project and therefore did not use its internal design team.

Although the official price of the car in the UAE has not yet been announced, reports estimate its value to be over $586,000, equivalent to about 2.15 million dirhams.

With the introduction of the 'Luce', Ferrari has officially entered the competition of luxury electric vehicles; however, the brand's executives emphasize that the goal is not to replace gasoline engines. From Ferrari's perspective, electric, hybrid, and gasoline cars are set to shape the future of this Italian brand together.
