As the Al Qudra Road development project approaches its final stages, the waiting time at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street is set to reduce from about 7 minutes to just 1 minute.

RTA has opened a new 700-meter, four-lane bridge at this intersection, which has the capacity to accommodate 6,000 vehicles per hour.

With the complete project completion:
• The intersection capacity will increase from 7,800 to 19,400 vehicles per hour
• Waiting time will be reduced by about 85%
• Travel time on this route will also decrease by about 70%

This route services areas including Damac Hills and several surrounding residential areas, benefiting over 400,000 people from its improvement.
