Dubai Police Request: Do Not Leave Your Phone, Wallet, and Valuables on the Beach
As the weather warms up and Dubai's beaches become busier, the police of this city have asked residents and visitors to be mindful of their personal belongings to ensure a fun day does not turn into trouble.
Dubai Police announced in a summer awareness campaign that beachgoers should not leave their mobile phones, wallets, cash, jewelry, or valuables unattended and it is better to keep these items in secure places.
The authority also recommends not bringing unnecessary expensive items to the beach as much as possible.
The police warning is not limited to the beach; drivers should also lock their doors and fully close their windows before leaving their vehicles, even for a few minutes.
Dubai Police have urged people to report any suspicious or illegal behavior quickly through the 'Police Eye' feature in the smart police app or by calling 901.
