Dubai International Airport became the world's busiest air hub with over 4.3 million flight seats in a month
Dubai International Airport has once again claimed the title of the world's busiest airport for international travel, maintaining its position as the most important air hub in the world.
According to the latest statistics from aviation analysis firm OAG, this airport ranked first in the world in July 2026 with 4.35 million international flight seats, surpassing London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, Incheon South Korea, and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

The capacity of Dubai's international flights has increased by 18% compared to the same period last year; a growth that indicates the demand for travel through Dubai is still on the rise.
This trend continues the successes of last year, where Dubai Airport recorded 95.2 million passengers, achieving its best performance in history. In the first quarter of 2026, 18.6 million passengers used this airport.
At the same time, Dubai has reduced airport processing times by developing smart technologies such as biometric gates, pre-travel identity verification, and fast-track lanes, making the travel experience easier and quicker for passengers.
