Dubai has launched a new award; but this time, it is not just about recognizing attractive ideas. The "Dubai it" award is for those who have turned big ideas into reality quickly, with quality, and with measurable results.

The first round of this award will enter the nomination phase from August 10, 2026, and will continue until September 10. In this round, achievements and projects implemented over the past four years are eligible to participate.

This award, launched by the directive of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, is based on the philosophy of "Dubai it"; that is, turn ideas into action and achieve results in the shortest time.

The award will be held in three categories: individuals, projects, and institutions and companies, covering 10 areas; from government, real estate, economy, and business to technology, sports, society, education, services, and health.

However, the judges do not only look at "what has been done." The main question is how it was done: how quickly? With what quality? What results were achieved? What impact was created, and can it serve as a model for others?

Nominees must provide details of the achievement, the challenge behind it, the implementation steps, results, and the extent of impact, and if possible, attach documents such as performance statistics, reports, photos, certificates, or other documentation.

Individuals, companies, and organizations can nominate themselves or others.

Registration for the first round will take place from August 10 to September 10, 2026, through the digital platform of the award. From the second round onwards, only achievements from the past 24 months will be reviewed.

In fact, the message of this award is very simple: in Dubai, an idea gains value only when it is truly implemented and produces results.
