Dubai Airport Now Has a Dedicated Waiting Lounge for Uber and Careem Passengers
A dedicated waiting lounge for Uber and Careem passengers has been opened at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. This lounge is located at the main pickup area for Uber and Careem vehicles, and its purpose is to make the boarding process for passengers arriving in Dubai easier and more organized. This project has been implemented by Uber in collaboration with Dubai Airports and in line with the initiatives of the Dubai Urban Etiquette Committee.
The new lounge is fully equipped with an air conditioning system and high-efficiency air purification devices. Standard and comfortable seating areas, a designated space for heavy luggage, high chairs, and elevated tables are also provided in this lounge. Additionally, several charging stations including high-speed USB-C, USB-A, and regular power outlets are available for passengers.
A dedicated queue has also been created for UberX and Careem Comfort passengers, and the waiting time and boarding process for passengers are managed using a pin code system. Signage indicates the official start of the queue and the route from the waiting lounge to the vehicles.
Passengers exiting Terminal 3 can go to the vehicle pickup area in front of the terminal and enter the waiting lounge through the designated entrance.
Tala Nasouli, Uber's manager in the UAE, stated that the goal of launching this facility is to reduce travel difficulties and provide a modern environment for passengers to rest and charge their electronic devices before boarding their vehicles.
Majid Al-Joker, the operational manager of Dubai Airports, also described this initiative as part of efforts to provide a smoother, more comfortable, and organized experience for passengers at one of the busiest international airports in the world.
