Dubai has once again focused on one of the fastest-growing industries in the world: the gaming industry.

At the "Dubai Gaming Retreat" event held at the Museum of the Future, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, met with representatives from 80 major gaming and technology companies from around the world; a meeting to design the next phase of growth for this industry in Dubai.

This event was organized by the Dubai Media Council and brought together developers, executives, entrepreneurs, and gaming industry professionals to discuss the future of this industry in the UAE; covering topics from innovation and investment to international collaborations.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that Dubai is on the path to becoming the "global hub of the gaming industry"; a place where international talents, major companies, and investors can thrive in a unified ecosystem.

He also highlighted the key role of the "Dubai Program for Gaming 2033"; a plan aimed at making gaming one of the main pillars of Dubai's digital economy, focusing on talent attraction, supporting startups, and developing global collaborations.

The meeting also stressed the continued strengthening of Dubai's media and digital ecosystem; with the support of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, who is responsible for developing the infrastructure, policy-making, and growth frameworks for this industry.
