The Dubai Municipality has signed a cooperation agreement with "Keeta Drone" to launch a drone delivery network in selected parks and beaches of the city; a plan that is part of Dubai's initiative to develop smart transportation and future-oriented technologies.

The goal of this project is to provide quicker and easier access to food, beverages, and essential goods in public spaces, as well as to enhance Dubai's position as a global innovation hub and smart city.

In this collaboration, air delivery routes and locations for order pickup and drop-off will be designed and tested, and the possibility of expanding air logistics technology in urban spaces will be examined.

According to the Dubai Municipality, the first pilot phase of this project will begin later this year in some selected parks and beaches and will gradually be expanded throughout the city.

"Badr Anouhi," the CEO of the Dubai Municipality's Public Facilities Agency, stated that this project will help provide more efficient services and create smart, future-oriented public spaces.

"Dr. Yinian Mao," the head of Keeta Drone, also noted that the goal of this collaboration is to provide quick, safe, and efficient access to services in Dubai's parks, beaches, and public spaces.

According to the agreement, the Dubai Municipality will be responsible for urban coordination and providing locations for the pilot implementation, while Keeta Drone will handle technical assessments, flight path design, conducting tests, and providing performance reports.
