Dollar price reached 271 thousand Tomans

The increase in currency prices in Iran continues, and the dollar has been traded today, Sunday, October 4, at historically high levels. The dollar rate in the free market has been reported today in the range of 267 to 271 thousand Tomans, and in some transactions, it has even reached about 272 thousand Tomans.

At the same time, the euro has been traded in the range of 301 to 302 thousand Tomans, and the British pound has reached about 355 thousand Tomans. The rates have varied slightly throughout the day and among different market sources.

Compared to the same period last year, when the dollar was traded in the free market at around 115 thousand Tomans, the current rate has more than doubled, with an increase of over 130 percent.
