The UAE Credit Information Authority has announced that information about microloans from services like “Cash Now,” provided by Boostim Finance, will now be recorded in credit reports. This change applies to both current and new customers and includes information related to previous account histories.

According to the CEO of Boostim, since the second quarter of 2025, information related to over one million Cash Now customer profiles has been sent to the UAE Credit Information Authority.

This means that if you use these types of short-term loans, the amount of debt and how it is repaid could be part of the information that banks and financial institutions see when assessing your credit status.

This change continues a trend that began with the inclusion of information from “Buy Now, Pay Later” services like Tabby and Tamara in UAE credit reports.
The news is not just about recording debt. The repayment method of microloans can also enter your credit history.
